I use cyberlink powerdirector 10, and whenever i want to render a video my screen goes black for a few seconds and then powerdirector freezes, and i get a little message saying "video drivers stopped responding". I tried a 2nd time and it worked again, but it takes me ages to get my things done because it crashes everytime i render.

I render .Wmv or mpeg-4. I tried mpeg-2, .avi and .mov as well but it still crashes.

I have tried other versions of my video card drivers, nothing has changed.

I hope i can get this problem resolved with your help.

If i have provided insufficient information please tell me what more i can provide.

here is my system specs :

Cpu : AMD phenom II x6 1050t

Ram : 8Gb DDr3 1600mhz Corsair Vengeance

Graphics Card : Xfx Radeon Hd 6970 2Gb

Motherboard : M5a99FX PRO R2.0
