Well ive been having a problem with my new build. I installed my 7770 all the up to date drivers but i found out while playing a game (mount and blade warband) that my display drivers have crashed and have recoverd successfully. The problem is that this happens every minute or so. I would appreciate anyone telling me what could possibly be wrong with my computer.

The graphisc card in question is teh Asus HD 7770-DCT-1GD5 

OS:Win 7 64 bit

Mobo:Asus M5A97 R2.0 AM3+

Power supply: OCZ ModXStream Pro 500w

CPUhenom II x4 965 BE

Memory:8gbs Kingston HyperX 

 All my drivers are up to date.

I might have had something similar. what happens on the screen when this happens? does it flicker? do strange glitchy artifacts apear? does the screen wink in an out a few times?

underclock your gpu

First it freezes for a second then it goes to my desktop. I can hear everything but the screen is just my desktop.    

Try 12.4 drivers.They work better for me
