Hello all.

I recently upgraded my graphics card from a 2600XT to a 5750 basically because I wanted to have three monitors instead of two, plus the 2600 is quite ancient by now. However, I'm noticing that both Windows and the Catalyst software are only allowing two monitors-- Catalyst has me disable one monitor in order to use the third, which obviously defeats the purpose. However, I'm assured that the 5750 is capable of at least three monitors, though now that I've done some digging, it sounds as if one of them HAS to be from the DisplayPort. Right now I'm utilizing three monitors, two of them on the two DVI ports and one on the HDMI. I ordered some other cables along with all of this and they just haven't arrived yet, but I plan to have the three monitors on one of the DVI ports, the HDMI port, and the DisplayPort. The DisplayPort will be adapted to HDMI to connect to the third monitor.

I basically want to verify that this setup will work. I read something about "daisy-chaining" multiple DisplayPort links together; I don't know if I ought to do that or not.

- 32-bit Windows Vista SP2 (I'll eventually use it on Linux Mint, but not for now)

Display Device(s) and Connection(s) Used
- Two Samsung SyncMaster S24B300 24-inch LED displays (one via HDMI and one via DisplayPort to HDMI adapter)
- One Samsung Syncmaster 215TW 21.5-inch LCD display (via DVI)

You should be good depending on your adapter. Something like the StarTech DP2DVIS is what you'll need. Note that it's ACTIVE and has many good reviews.

Also remember one of the DVI ports is shared by the HDMI port and cannot be used at the same time.
