This message to ask you an help in solving a problem with the ATI 5450 and Windows.
I succesfully installed the HD 5450 PCI in an old Supermicro x5dpa-GG motherboard (two processors).
In order to use the 5450 I had to change the position of a jumper that deactivates the integrated vga card of the motherboard.
Doing this I could connect the screen on the ATI 5450 and boot the pc without any problems. When Windows 7 starts it uses the driver for a default vga card and it works; when I install the AMD catalyst driver and I reboot windows, the booting process hungs on the blue page in which there is a "circle rounding"... can someone helps me?
Regards,
Marco
