Hey all, slipped into the forums to see if anyone could help me with an issue my new GFX card has been giving me.

I've recently been getting an odd crash where my screen will turn a solid color and get a set of vertical lines down it. ((Enclosed Pics))

It first started while I was running 12.6 drivers. I hopped up to the 12.10 and the issue became more previlent. Then hopped to 12.11 beta, it happened even more frequently. So I tried going over to 12.8 and the computer was completly stable, no crashing for several days. Then out of the blue the vertical line issue. 

My specs are as follows.

Gigabyte 970A-UD3 Motherboard

AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE

CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W PSU

Team Xtreem Dark Series 8GB ((2x4 gb sticks))

Sapphire 7870 GHz OC Edition

Win7 64 bit

Some extra information that might help. I noticed while on Teamspeak I can still hear people talking no problems while the screen issue occurs, but my mouse, keyboard and power button do not respond ((Unless held down for a hard reboot))

The game I have been able to make this issue reoccur in was Dungeon Defenders, after hitting the 12.8 Drivers I was running for 10+ hours and never seeing a hiccup till this one recent one. Where as the other drivers I could not go an hour without this crash.

Any information would be appritated, I do adore this card and want to get it working as best I can.

Edit: Also I have run driversweeper after every old driver uninstall. My bios have been updated as well in an attempt to fix this. Furmark runs the card flawlessly at max settings for an hour without a hiccup.

Try going back to 12.4 and see if it fixes your issues.Sorry i cant be of more help.
