Hello everybody, my friend has an unusual problem, she can not set the native resolution of the monitor. The display is a Samsung 2443NW, VGA cable is connected to the Radeon HD6870. Windows 7 detects a maximum resolution of 1600x1200. Earlier, on prehistoric GeForce 5200, XP had no problem with 1920x1200. A few steps that I have taken, without much result.

1). In the advanced settings unchecked "hide modes that this monitor cannot display". In the "
List All Modes" there is max. 1920x1080, but it is 30Hz interlaced. Image is poor and it is still not native.

2). Reinstall different versions of gpu drivers. No result.

3). Trying registry approach: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1605511 - no change, still max 1600x1200.

4). PowerStrip does not support this card.

5). I've tried to install monitor driver(for Vista), uninstall them, use the generic MS driver for flat panel displays(1920x1200). All no effect.

Any idea?
