Hello all,

I have a custom built workstation with the FirePro V8800 graphics card.  I have 3 monitors, 2 Dell u3011's and a 28 inch Haans-G.  As of yesterday, they all worked totally fine and I have never had any problems with them since I added the 3rd monitor over a year ago.  Suddenly, today when I came in the 3rd monitor isn't recognized.  I've done the basic troubleshooting of making sure its plugged in, checked the cables, the input, switched the port its plugged into on the card, restarted the PC, etc.  When I unplug the Display Port cable from the monitor my PC makes the noise it makes when you unplug something from it, similar to the noise made when unplugging a USB device...so I know the computer at least knows its plugged in.

Inside Catalyst Control Center it shows a 3rd monitor, a Generic PnP monitor but it shows it as 640x480 resolution and you still can't get the display to show anything.  When I click on "Identify" it shows #1 as my main and #3 as the monitor on my right, the Haans-G.  Also, in the Control Center when I select the PnP monitor it says "fake" as the description.  I have attached screenshots.  I even tried reinstalling Catalyst and the drivers with no luck.

I appreciate the help!
