Hello.

I am looking for some video help.  When I am playing a 1080p mp4 file the playback is choppy.  I am hoping someone here can help me.  720 plays ok.  I am using WMP11 and Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.6.5 (latest version).

My system is a Intel Pentium 4, 3 ghz, 3 gigs ram, D865PERL chipset, AGP graphics, Sapphire Radeon HD 4650 1 gig AGP video card, Samsung S24B240 monitor, SB live sound card.

My OS is Windows XP, SP 3.  The Catalyst Control Center is 2011.0728.1723.29300.  The ATI video driver is 8.881.0.0.  I believe I am using the AGP 11.8 hotfix drivers.

When I play 720 video they play ok and cpu usage is around 5-10%.  When I play 1080 they play choppy and the cpu usage is almot 100%.  I understand that 1080 is more resource intensive than 720 but if the 720 play so easily it would seem to me that the 1080 should play ok.  The documentation says 1080 is supported.

Thanks for your help.
