I have a question about my motherboard and processor. I built a computer with a new ASUS motherboard and an AMD processor. This is the first time I've bought an AMD product so I'm not familiar with them at all. I didn't buy these two products to make a gaming computer, but choose these two parts for the ability to use this special features they would have if I so desired.

This combo together was suppose to allow me to pair up a video card with the processor to get a crossfire type setup I believe. Last night i was bored so i started to dig into this and look up the video card that was recommended. All the reviews were not good for this card and some places that had the card for sale said the video card was discontinued.

My motherboard is the ASUS F2A85-M and the processor is an AMD A-6 5400k.

My question is why would such a new board and processor have a video card recommended, to achieve this dual graphics, that isn't very good. We all know if you want better graphics, ecspecially for gaming, we get a good video card.

If someone has an answer to this, I'd really like to know. To me it's almost like AMD is going backwards on this.

It's a marketing strategy.Deal with it. The processor itself is good for gaming, but it's better to just add a single powerful card than go with hybrid solutions..
