every some often when i start my pc. as my pc boots up the graphic card fan will run up to full speed and not load the graphics. if i pull the cable out and plug it into the on board graphics, the screen come on and windows is loading. this only happens every so offten. but to get the card to work, i remove it and put it back in. this seens to sort it out. ive new drivers. running XP-sp3, i5-2400 cpu. 4gb ram. xfx radeon HD6770

Contact XFX, it might be a VGA BIOS issue. Or something else. They probably can tell you.
