Hi, I decided to give the Beta 5 drivers a whirl today but I can't download them.  Looks like ATI.com DNS is down.

The ATI name was dropped quite some time ago.  It's all under AMD now.

Might be wise for them to change the download links on the driver site then, they all point to ATI.com.

What driver site?  The AMD site has no such reference to ati.com, and that's the top match for a search on "ati drivers".

I  have to conclude you're talking about some third party site, which AMD certainly wouldn't have any control over.

Actually the OP is right. Download link for Catalyst drivers IS using ati.com domain. Isn't this link familiar to you, people?

http://www2.ati.com/drivers/13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe

It is the official download link of the current drivers. It does work though, so if it happened to be down, it was fixed in no time.
