AMD is here, but if you are looking for more of an immediate response and more direct customer care/troubleshooting, you are encouraged to contact AMD Customer Care directly.

As for your problem, I would encourage you to review the sticky at the top of the thread list in the category, and provide all the information you can.  Do not be so quick to blame drivers.  I can guarantee there are individuals out there that have used those drivers with similiar hardware and not had the issue.

It's good that you have done a system reformat and clean install of the OS.  Here's where I think you should be at, and I think you're there. Correct?

1) Install OS from clean system reformat
2) Update Windows entirely, but I recommend to avoid driver updates through Windows Updates.  Reboot as required along the way
3) Install the latest motherboard drivers from motherboard maker
4) Install latest video card driver from video card maker (use 13.2 beta)
5) Test for issue.

Additionally, you mention .mkv movies.  Are these rips of some sort?  What video players have you tried.  You certain all the codecs are installed properly for them?
