Very new here so here goes.

The other dya I reloaded my system and I obtained the latest 13.1 HD drivers for my 5 series cards.

After install the driver gave me a BSOD and totaly corrupted my system!!!!

Yes the install was done after all the service packs and updates were done..

 

I am not able ti sue the new version 13 + I could only install the 12+ version..

The simmilar thing happen to my friend about a week ago whi installed the latest amd chipset drivers on his 880FX board the driver corrupted his entire system could not recover most of the stuff..

 

AMD are you aware of this problem ???

Where then is AMD? I have a problem on drivers from version 12.11 to 13.02 inclusive (on version 12.10 no such, everything is fine) for movies in MKV format players appear dark Spots and Stripes. Problem 100% in drivers, fix please!

As for your problem, I would encourage you to review the sticky at the top of the thread list in the category, and provide all the information you can.  Do not be so quick to blame drivers.  I can guarantee there are individuals out there that have used those drivers with similiar hardware and not had the issue.

It's good that you have done a system reformat and clean install of the OS.  Here's where I think you should be at, and I think you're there. Correct?

1) Install OS from clean system reformat
2) Update Windows entirely, but I recommend to avoid driver updates through Windows Updates.  Reboot as required along the way
3) Install the latest motherboard drivers from motherboard maker
4) Install latest video card driver from video card maker (use 13.2 beta)
5) Test for issue.

Additionally, you mention .mkv movies.  Are these rips of some sort?  What video players have you tried.  You certain all the codecs are installed properly for them?
