This is a new PC that I builded 5 weeks ago with new purchased item. And maybe once a week I got a system crash. Most of the time when the PC is idle. I don't play games. The system is clean, no virus, no malware. I did reinstall twice but the issue persists.

When the system crash, i had firefox, skype, msn, launched. (all times)
I tested catalyst 12.10, catalyst 13.1 right now but still crash.

Everytime it is the same error in the memory.dmp, caused by atikmdag.sys

Things I have noticed:
Firefox 18 sometimes have weird effect on the interface
After each Windows 8 install, I have black bar on the 4 corner of the screen. Windows 8 by itself doesnt scale correctly with my display connected with HDMI cable and I have to use the catalyst control center to set the scaling correct.

I did some research on other forums but nothing helped me. PSU is correct, I have latest firmware on SSD, I don't do overcloking, the cable are ok. Except that I didn't uninstall CCC as other suggest. CCC is also disable from startup program because I don't use it at all. I just need it to set the scaling after the windows 8 install. I run tool like memtest, prime...all is ok

I don't where to look, can you please help fix this ?
