What is your BIOS version? What is the Power Supply?...   two of the most critical pieces of info that is missing.

Woo yea, Chinese Firecracker there. Get you a real PSU made by SeaSonic or Enermax before you damage something.

The only BeQuiet units worth anything are the Dark Power Pro P10 850w, 1000w, and 1200w units as they are made by SeaSonic. The bulk of the rest are made by FSP.

And lets say instead of a firecracker there would be a better unit.. 550w still seems low for a hd7970, it can suck roughly 300-350 watts during heavy load and you still have to give power to your cpu, hdd's, fans etc.
