I have a xfx 6950 2gb and a visiontec 6950 1gb problem is when i enable crossfirex as soon as bf3 goes to full screen I get blue screen.

first thing i was wondering is i noticed the mobo spec tell me that the 2nd pcie 16x slot only runs at 8x when linked M4A78t-E

Yes with the M4A78T-E mobo when you use the second pcie slot both will run at 8X.

could be the cards being different makers,bioses and 1G vs 2G causing issues.thats why when I do crossfire,I buy 2 identical cards(in my current 6950 dirt 3's,they are even sequential serial #'s)

can't see that causing BSOD though, I've ran three diffrent makes of 4870's and even had them at diffrent clockspeed to each other with no problems

More likly the second card is failing
