my PC:

OS:Windows 7 x64 SP1

P: Intel i5-3570 3.4 Ghz

MB:Asus P8Z77-V LK

RAM: 8 Gb DDR3

GC: Radeon 7970 HD 3 Gb

Resolution : 1280x1024

My problem:

I have a pretty low FPS playing videogames. For example, Tomb Raider on the Max settings gives me 20-40 FPS. Hitman:Absolution gives me 10-20 FPS full max. I have NO IDEA what's the problem, but I expected better performance.Can someone help me out?

1280x1024 and a 7970? time to upgrade your monitor , which power supply are you using?
