My 6770 is constantly running its fans too fast in some of my games it gets so fast it sounds like its going to fly out of my case! its also running VERY hot. about 150 degress F in idle and it even gets hotter in games.

THIS CARD HAS NEVER BEEN OVERCLOCKED!

151F is ~66C, that temperature is perfectly normal during gaming.

Yep nothing wrong with that temp at all.

If it was hitting 90+C then you'd have something to worry about. It may just be time to clean out the heatsink with some canned air or a compressor. If it started its probably just the Vbios kicking the fan up into a higher gear once it hits 65C.

Thanks for providing us with your serial number (I removed it)!!  There is a stickied thread in almost all of the categories in this forum that state what we need to help you with your issue, each one is ironically named the same and pretty clear as to what it is about.  Please read it and only supply what is requested.  When you copy and paste your system info from your computer it supplies a bunch of useless information and often times will drive potential would-be helpers to just back out of the thread before they even read one word of your initial post....tldr (Too Long, Didn't Read).
