Summary: Graphical artifacts, HALP ME

So I have recently built my first machine with a fair bit of caution and have managed to enjoy a fairly smooth performance across most things.  I did, however, run into a couple of weird issues.  The worst of these pests is my games in particular have had run into a bunch of weird 'artifacting', polygons rendering strangely and shooting out like triangles at war as an example.  Now, usually it isn't terribly catastrophic, but it is rather saddening because it does ruin gameplay and the overall experience.  I am running the latest drivers, stock speed (AKA no OC yet), and have wiped all previous drivers to no avail.  Contextual information-wise, I have run some rendering doodads with no major red flags (granted, not for too long), temperatures seem safe, and I have not barfed into my computer tower. Anyone able to help?

Right-o!  In my eagerness for truth and justice I forgot to read such wonderous guidelines.  I shall do my best:

PSU (Phantasy Star Universe anyone? Well, I lol'd):

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX750 V2 750W ATX12V v2.31/ EPS12V v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

MOBO:

AS Rock LGA1155 DDR3 SATA3 USB3.0 Quad CrossFireX and Quad SLI A GbE ATX Motherboard Z77 EXTREME4

Software:
Running 64 bit windows.  Now on beta driver for AMD (13.2 I believe?)

I also apologize for making up a card.

I hate it when there's barf inside the case.  It doesn't take long for that to smell really bad after things heat up... unfortunately, I am speaking from experience here...

In what games are the artifacts happening?  Excess heat is probably the most common cause.   Bugs, and dead/wiggy memory can also, among other things.

It happens in any and all games.  I don't think it's heat, the temperatures I read seemed pretty nice and happy.  About to send this back with a small jar of tears, not the happy kind.

If it's always been that way in all games, then yeah... that makes me think it's a hardware thing.  Probably a dead memory chip onboard your video card, or something like that.

I shall certainly look into getting this RMA'd.  Thank you for the help, it was... well.. helpful.  Seriously though, thanks.  Was scared I had like broken my MOBO and destroyed the whole system.

Well if it's any consolation, I have a HD 7870 XFired with a HD 7850 and I'm getting all of the issues that you're talking about. In Starcraft 2 I have sections of the terrain that flicker black and back to the texture that it was originally, and in Max Payne 3 the cutscenes are frozen with still frames of parts of the game that I played an hour ago. I don't know if this is indicative of bad hardware or a driver issue.

I have had to return 2 of that same card recently. Right now I'm on my 3rd. Unfortunately I wasn't able to choose another card at the time. Do you have more then one monitor connected and what drivers are you using?
