I have an Ati Readon 6970 and theres a very small switch on the side of the videocard with a 1 and 2 options I can switch it to 1 or 2 I was simply wondering if anyone knew what this switch is for and what it does?

Position 1 gives you badgers.

Position 2 gives you mushrooms.

Yeah I have no idea... I'm thinkin a more indepth description is required for anyone to say one way or another.

It's BIOS switch. I think 1 is BIOS you can reflash, and 2 is original BIOS you can not change. A small help to people that like to overclock their cards.

What make/model card?.Basicly it is bios switch between standard/high  performance(increase to voltage/fan speed and overclocking).See your card website for more info.
