I've got the HD raedon 5450 card. I currently have an hdmi connected to my graphics card for my tv but I've noticed that when the hdmi is plugged in I don't my my desktop on my computer monitor , when I unplug the hdmi I get my desktop back.  Is there a way I can have my desktop show without having to unplug my hdmi cable each time? Ideally I'd like to leave the cable plugged in so I can switch to my tv whenever without having to plug it in.

Choose Clone or Extended Desktop mode, depending on which you desire.
