System Specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Memory: 10GB DDR3 RAM

Processor: AMD FX 6120 6 core

GPU: Radeon HD 7450

Display: 1920 x 1080

So first of all, I am well aware of the benchmarks on my GPU and processor and I understand that my GPU is a pretty low end card (processor isn't the greatest either but I know that's not what is bottlenecking my system) so with that being said, I'm not expecting to run Crysis 3 or Skyrim at 1080 res on full detail or anything like that...

But I am still wondering if my system should be performing better than it is...

For instance, in Sniper Elite V2: Nazi Zombie Army I have to lower every detail setting, disable any type of graphics enhancemnt and drop the screen resolition just to achieve 20 fps not in combat, In combat it's around 10 fps. And the system requirements for this game in particular are kind of low...

  • Processor: Dual-core CPU with SSE3 (Intel® Pentium® D 3GHz / AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 4200) or better
  • Memory: 2GB
  • Hard Disk Space: 5GB of free drive space
  • Video Card: Microsoft® DirectX® 10.0 compatible graphics card with 256 MB of memory (NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800 series / ATI Radeon™ HD 3870) or better
Anyway, like I said, I know I need a GPU upgrade for sure but in the mean time this is all I have to deal with. So is this performance in games to be expected or should I be getting a little more fps in games with all detail set to low?

It is such a low end card. The mentioned 8800 and 3870 would eat it for breakfast and stay hungry.

yup, I am aware of it being a low end card. My question was asking if I should be getting slightly better performance than 10 fps in the game i mentioned... not if my card was a high or low end card.

I didn't mean it as criticism. I meant you're way below the system requirements (to which I compared your card), and the performance you get is normal.
