Basically, this card is showing no performance improvements over my Radeon HD 6770 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150560). Games show the same FPS numbers even though, by all accounts, this Radeon HD 7870 should perform considerably better.

I'm not sure why the performance isn't as good as expected. I get picture with no artifacts, so I don't think there are any loose connections/improperly installed hardware. It's just that I get absolutely no improvements in FPS, when I most certainly should. The cards aren't even really comparable in power. Any ideas?
