Radeon HD 5870CCC V.13.1/ Driver 9.12.0.0Windows 7 64-bit, Service pack 1Mobo: Dell Inc. 0X501H (BIOS up to date)Intel Core I7 9209GB RAM DDR3Ok so here is my issue, ever since Catalyst 12.8 I have been having my computer lock up at on random occurances, it doesnt happen too often, sometimes they happen once a week, sometimes once a month. It usually locks up either playing games or watching videos. My skype/vent/mumble usually still work, but i cant close or open any application once it occurs and am forced to hard reset. I have a warrenty with dell and replaced the Video card and a bunch of other hardware so i dont think its that.Ive done a clean install of my driver using Driver SweeperIve had all the .NET framework up until 4 installed, I recently just installed 4.5 to see if it might help.Any suggestions to this problem would help, thank you.

Please try these options:

- Install windows from other disk

- Remove one ram stick or

- Try with more powerful PSU, because your computer is very loaded

Please reply what have you done

-I never got disks with my computer, but i contacted Dell and theyre sending me the OS disk and driver disk.-I'll give this try, but i dont think the computer would go on for such long periods of time with no issue if it was the RAM. Its set up 121212 i beleive. Sounds more like a software/driver issue if anything.-Its defienetly not the PSU, had it changed just incase cuz i have a warranty, but Ive had my PC for 3 years now and this problem only started a few months ago

Hard crazy issues.. #1 test ram, memtest too easy to run, easy to eliminate 1 item fast easy. On to the next. No guessing.
