Brand New MSI R6570 card. Installed latest Catalyst driver. Did Clean sweep first. DXDIAG shows display memory N/A. Installed old Catalyst 11.4 driver. This works fine and shows display memory size at 1024MB. I am guessing that Direct X is not seeing the display size and disabling Direct 3D support. All enable/disable boxes are greyed out. This seems to be the case for all Catalyst versions sometime after 11.4. I did not try them all but versions 11.7, 11.8,11.9,11.10, 12.8, 13.1 all have the problem. Windows is unusable with this problem and I need version 11.9 or later for OpenGL support. Are there any registry settings I can change to get this to work. It is definately a AMD driver issue. Also reinstalled latest direct X.
