Hi all. I just got a Gigabyte 7990 GV-R799D5-6GD-B (one of the new ones, not the old Powercolor Devil or Asus ones).
At load, one of the gpus heats up very quickly and then overheats to 101C, then throttles down to 500mhz bringing the temperature down to about 99C, then few seconds later up to 101 again, rinse, repeat. The 2nd GPU on the card is hovering around 75C and is stable. They are running stock frequencies and I'm forcing the fans to stay at 100%, but nothing helps. It even overheats with the side of the case off and a portable AC unit blowing on it. I'm assuming this is abnormal behavior and need an RMA, but just wanted to check for any tips before I sent it back.

Plenty of cooling in the case, plus still happens with a/c blowing right on it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Edit- I've tried both 13.4 and 13.5b2. Same results on each.
