So, I'm hooking up my PC to an HDTV via HDMI. When I hit "duplicate" on my TV monitor to get my monitor to show one screen for both displays, it works perfectly for about 10 seconds, then goes back to being unduplicated. Also, there's no message popup that asks me if I want to keep the settings or anything. Halp?

There should be a popup asking you to confirm.  Try just hitting enter to keep the settings.

Broken .NET framework, CCC can't display the confirmation message. There are threads about this, try looking around.

Tip: Try using windows to set display settings until you manage to solve this.

Could you help me locate a thread about this, then? Because I have looked, and extensively.
