Hello,

sorry for the mistakes of language, English is not my main language.

I have an ATI Radeon HD7970

Since I installed the latest drivers and the latest updates windows 7 64bit, when the computer is idle, the fan card runs at 100%.

It's weird, I did not have it before (no change in parts).

Worse, when I watch a video on the web (twitch.tv or otherwise), if I stay idle for some time, I have the same problem.

I move the mouse a little, it goes down.

The only meeting this am I?

Try going back to the last driver before this one or older and see if that fixes the problem.

Hello,

Thank you for the advice.

I confirm with the 13.1 version of Catalyst, I have no problem.

When I install the 13.4, the problem reappears.

How to be sure that AMD is aware of the problem?

I try not to do updates on anything as long as I'm not having problems. That is from any drivers, bios & even some of windows updates. The last driver I did for the video card was 12/19/2012. What I go by is "what isn't broke don't fix".

Oops, I answered too quickly, despite the updated BIOS, I still have the problem. AMD warns its developers and keep me informed.
