I bought and made a Gaming Computer 1-2 Months ago, and one month ago i tried playing Team Fortress 2, but my graphics card froze the screen causing windows to interefere (Black Screen) focing me to close the game through Task Manager. At first i believed it was just TF2 so i disregarded it and stopped playing it.

Now i started playing Mount and Blade: Warband and the same thing has happened to me. Windows says: Display Driver has stopped working but has recovered. This happens to me alot during gameplay, i've probably tried 10-20 times now.

Im very frustrated now and i believe i will never be able to play any high resource game with this GPU.

NOTE: TF2 and Mount and Blade Warband do not take alot of resources to play, unlike BF3 or COD

NOTE: For some reason i cant open catalyst. I download and install, but it doesnt show up anywhere in my files, ( AMD Vision Engine Control Center is there ).

System Specs:

GPU: Asus HD 7770 DirectCu (Overclocked BUT came with a larger fan)

CPU: AMD A8500K 3.6ghz

PSU: Antec High Gamer Series 520W

Ram: Corsair 8gb ( 2 ports )

Thanks for all suggestions in Advance. Thanks!

Try to uninstall the AMD Vision Engine Control Center and anything else that has do with that program. Even the video card driver. Reboot the computer and than try and install the driver & CCC that you downloaded from ATI.
