Graphics Card

Sapphire HD 7870 GHz OC

Problem appears with or without using the Motherboard overclock setting.

Catalyst and Driver version

Currently using 13.6 Beta in an attempt to see if that would fix the issue.  13.4 does not work either.

OS

Windows 7 64-bit

Issue Details

Whenever I am using a non-native resolution (non-1920x1080) the image doesn't display correctly, gaming or otherwise.  The image sits correctly on the left side of the monitor but it stretches off the screen to the right side, separates columns of pixels and has significant discoloration.

Motherboard

Asus P8 Z77-V LK

Power Supply

SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze 520W

Display

Acer P235H using HDMI

(It may be an issue with the monitor, but it was not having an issue while plugged into a laptop.)

Applications

Does it with everything; program, game or just displaying the desktop.

CPU

Intel Core i5-3570K

Issue is there with or without overclocking.

Motherboard BIOS

ASUS 0809

Memory

Team Elite 8GB

Ok, maybe updating to 13.6 did help?  It seems that it's now working fine.  What's wierd is that it took a couple restarts before it started working.  So I guess I don't actually have a problem then!

And now it's back a day later.  I don't know what's going on anymore.

If it changes like that it's probably a damaged cable. Try using another one.
