ok, i have my radeon 7790 a few weeks now, no problems before but today i noticed with msi afterburner that the card is suddenly running at only 575 mhz and 800 mem clock instead of double. i noticed less fluid fps on some games. how can this happen? the card is still fully connected latest drivers installed. what to do? how do i get it to run back at its normal clockings?          edit: after some googling around only get replies that i should go back to nvidia since amd has horrible drivers.. this will not do..

Sounds like a power setting.  Or Power Play.  Or Power Tune.  Or Zero Core. Do you have your PC set for 'High Performance'? or 'balanced' ? There is a post here that has some info. Google the above terms if you don't know what they do. For better responses, furnish the information asked for in "PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING.

thanks for the reply the issue is resolved. seems like it was an issue with msi afterburner wich locked the card at half speed. uninstalled it installed latest version and all is fine again.
