One year old Gateway FX 6860.  Device Manager indicates Dicplay Adapter as ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series.  However, while cleaning inside of computer, checked video card and it is a ATI Radeon HD 6750.  Removed adapter and driver and rebooted but computer stills indicates a Radeon HD 5700 series.  Does this really matter and if so, how do I get computer to recoginze the right card.

The HD 6750 is a rebadged HD 5750, so all that means is that Gateway didn't change the device ID to report as a HD 6750.

Thanks.  Is there a way I can change this and what device driver do I use - 5700 or 6700?

It's using the correct driver.

@mojoseeker just download the autodetect hardware software from AMD site and install it ,It will detect your gpu and download drivers according to it
