Hello all,I recently built a new rig and am using a single HD 5970.

Whenever I start a game or anything 3d that utilizes the second gpu, I get this gauge in the middle of my screen and it is present until I go back to the desktop.  It is a complete circle with tick marks similar to an RPM gauge.  Below is one example.  Any ideas?

I should mention it goes away when I install the newest beta drivers, but returns when I restart or boot up the computer.

This is a brand new rig with a clean win 8 - 64 bit install.

specs:

asus maximus 6 hero MB

2x8gb corsair vengence

i7-4770k

corsair hx-1000W

corsair 128gb SSD

looks like some Asus crap. Use task manager to see whats running...and check msconfig to see what's starting up when you boot.
