Those graphics cards are OEM only. You need to go to your laptop manufacturer for drivers. If your computer is a Dell...here are the drivers. The newest beta drivers support the 8000M series...but you should still check with your computer manufacturer.

Thanks,

The machine's a Lenovo H520, desktop, no laptop. On AMDs pages I can find drivers for HD 8570M that supposedly are for laptops... Mine's a HD 8570 without the M.

Actually found those Dell-drivers yesterday and gambled that it could work for me, but no... They installed, but the machine doesn't recognice the card at all.

Asked Lenovo for drivers, but they couldn't find any. AMD tell me to contact Lenovo. Only googled drivers found are the Dell ones that doesn't work...Phew!

Only thing left is to install the HD8570M drivers.... Is that feasible?

Very strange... Aren't OEM drivers ever updated at all?

(the machine comes with win8 that I want to replace with win7. All stuff works xept graphics )

I see drivers for that card from Lenovo...but for Windows7 here. You might check the Lenovo user forum for advice.

Thanks again,

Well, that's the M drivers I mentioned in my last post... But since I can't find any other I thied these too.... No work!! Nada, Niente, Zip, Zero...

Out of ideas now... Still find it strange... OEM, ok! but why aren't there any drivers for win 7 for HD8570 (without M) ... ? Not at Lenovo, Not at ATI ?

Now considering throwing away the card and buying a similar one...

Lenovo only has drivers for supported operating systems. Trying to swap to a different OS from the one that shipped with the system originally can be problematic if hardware isn't compatible with the new OS.

Since each 8570 is made to specs set by the system manufacturer, we can't offer drivers because the 8570s that you find in a Dell won't necessarily match one in a Lenovo, so a generic driver for those cards would likely cause issues on at least one of them (if it works for Lenovo 8570s, it might not for Dell 8570s), which is why your system builder will be the one to offer them.

Give Lenovo a call, they may have the drivers on their server that aren't on their site. Could be worth a try.
