I have an Acer Aspire X3810 desktop and recently I've bought AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB DDR5 to upgrade my graphics. I knew that it requires at least 400W power supply, so I've bought such as well. The problem is that when I turn-on the PC with the new video card, nothing happens - the display isn't turning on and the PC shuts down several times.

Could you please advise what is the problem here - is the 400W power supply not enough for the video card, or it is incompatible with the motherboard (Acer WG43M - )? Or the issue is somewhere else?

Any help is appriciated!

Not sure about Intel integrated graphics but I think you need to do some BIOS changes to disable them and allow for the discrete.

My friend had to go into the Chipset Settings and change his Primary Graphics Adapter to PCI Express.

A "400 watt power supply" doesn't tell us much. What is the make and model? If you have the graphics card in the correct pci slot, and have the power connected to the card correctly....then it does sound like a power supply issue. Please reply with the needed info.
