While I'm in most fullscreen games, my second monitor which is showing the desktop will get less than one frame per second. I have tried placing the game on my second monitor and checking out the desktop on my primary monitor - same issue. I'm running Windows 8, and I found a solution that has worked for some games, but not all. I have to select Windows 7 compatibility mode. Again, this has only worked for some games, really not that many though (Europa Universalis 4 is an example). Both of my monitors are plugged into my Radeon HD 6800. I didn't have this on my Windows 7 install, or my last Windows 8 install. This happened after my most recent format. Any ideas?

Edit: missed some info, my apologies.

Motherboard: Gigabyte H77M-D3H

Display1: Labled Generic PnP, but it's some samsung model

Display2: Dell S2340M

Additional: Boot is on an SSD

I've tried while my secondary monitor is plugged into my integrated and the isue persists. It doesn't matter which is my primary or secondary monitor, that's been checked too.
