Hello !

I am using an XFX ATI RADEON HD 6770 for the past 12-13 months without any problem except for the last couple of days.At first the screen started to flicker and later showed some vertical lines while playing a game, the monitor lost signal and I had to manually restart the pc.For the last 3 consecutive days my pc is showing the BSOD whenever I am playing a game and restarts automatically.I tried to uninstall and reinstall the video drivers from safe mode but in vain.Currently I have FIFA 13 and Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 installed, I got a copy of PES 14 yesterday and got the BSOD while playing that too. There is no sign of any problems while doing anything else, last night though the color scheme changed to classic while watching a movie on VLC.

Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed, the technical information part mentioned something about atikmpag.sys

I tried the windows experience index and while running the graphics test the BSOD again showed up, a friend of mine suggested me to revert back to the driver which came with the card, I did the same but this time there was no BSOD but still the vertical lines showed up and when I again tried the windows experience graphics test the mouse pointer became a bit bigger and looked bloated and broken
