Hi,

I have purchased this graphics card three months back. Recently I'm noticing red vertical lines red pixels appears on the dark areas of the display. It comes on every games, pictures, browser etc etc. Still now it appears only once after one or two hours of system start up, then strangely disappears like nothing happened. Also the gpu clock and memory clock never goes below 500MHz & 1375 MHz, and temperature stays around 47 degrees. I have replaced my DVI cable with a new one, reinstalled the latest catalyst 13.9 graphics driver and refitted the card on the motherboard also checked the reduce DVi frequency check box on cayalyst control center but the result remains the same. The card is factory overclocked so I never overclocked it.

My System Spec.

CPU - AMD FX 8150

Motherboard - ASrock 990FX Extreme 4

PSU - Corsair TX 850

RAM - G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8GBx4  1600MHz

Cabinet - Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower

Monitor - AOC 2619 26"

GPU - Gigabyte HD 7970 OC Edition (GV-R797OC-3GD)

Catalyst Version -13.9

I'm attaching some pictures links of my problem.

On every driver download page is a "issue report form"...this goes to AMD technical support. If you don't report your issue, nothing will be done about it.
