Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

Happens like once every 1-4 hours, happens to any game.

No taskbar popup, viewable only in event viewer, locks up game while playing, have to spam alt+ctrl+del alot right away otherwise it stays like it and have to hard reset.

Installed on new system, drivers installed with a yellow ! warning however displays no errors or anything.

13.9 catalyst drivers, 2x sapphire 7950 boost 1.25v bios, windows 7 sp1, latest drivers, ULPS disabled.

What i have tried:

1. updating everything including mobo bios

2. google chrome issues regarding gpu acceleration

3. flash acceleration in google chrome

4. removal of google chrome

5. Disabled ULPS for ati crossfire

6. Latest drivers 13.9 however not green install....

7. Stability tests

8. Setting to stock

9. Underclocking

10. Raising 2d core/mem frequencies based on 0.95v from 300/150 to 400/250.

i used to use these 2x sapphire 7950's in my old build with a asus p7p55d-evo mobo with 13.4 drivers, but now i use a asus maximus vi hero and all drivers about 13.4 give me this issue, i will try tdr delay, i will try forcing 2d clocks off with trixx/afterburner,  i will even try 13.4 drivers, i dont want to though as some new games run bad on it. so its a driver issue, or motherboard bios issue (i have the latest 804 bios)

Have a impact? Yes, it stops the cause of the message you are getting. That's what it is for. If you mean does it have a negative impact on gaming...the answer is no.
