- AMD Radeon HD 7570

 

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History

- Driver Version 8.911.0.0

-  Windows 7 Home Premium version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1build 7601; 64-bit

 

Issue Details

- all issues have been seen while using firefox and chrome web browsers (which is 90% of my time)

- irregularly spaced small pixelated squares have appeared on the taskbar

-larger sections of the screen have appeared as a pixelated grid of squares, which sometimes change colors as I scroll on a page

- the screen has gone black for a couple seconds, reappeared, and a message pops up on the taskbar saying “Display driver AMD driver stopped working and has successfully recovered”

-just recently, opening links in a new tab in chrome has caused the page to be displayed as black with some blocks of green pixels.

And now I;ve gotten a blue screen crash. Is there any more information I need to provide? Anyone?

Well I believe that your Dell 8500 has a 460W PSU and the 7570 really requires a solid 500W PSU. Most would recommend at least 650W PSU.

When you have seen those issue in FireFox have you been viewing video clips or just generic browsing.

Do you have use hardware accelerator turn on within the browser.

As I can see you maybe having an issue of pure power. When every device hits a peak requirement 460W may not be enough.

Thanks for the help, WMudrockJr. I don't know where to find the info for what PSU I have. I turned off Windows Aero and have not had a problem since. I hope no damage was done...
