I just installed a new MSI Radeon Hd 7790 2GB OC into my PC running Windows 8.1 64. I've got it connected to a Samsung SyncMaster display via HDMI. After I installed the Catalyst software and drivers, I found that my mouse curser was huge and low resolution. The rest of the display is fine, at 1080p 60Hz.

I tried updating the drivers and software using MSI LiveUpdater (my motherboard is also MSI and brand new), which didn't work. I also tried downloading directly from the AMD site the latest drivers but again nothing. My BIOS is up to date as is Windows.

Wierdly, if I enable the mouse curser 'trail' then it fixes the problem, but I then have an  anoying mouse tail and the curser won't display in games with that enabled. I have been into display settings and I discovered that there are TWO monitors listed, my main Samsung display, and then an additional Generic PnP monitor which has its setting at 640x480. There is no other monitor connected, but when I look at its properties it says its connected to the Intel graphics processor (I have an Haswell i7-4770k).

Any suggestions how I can fix this?
