Greetings,

I'm here to ask for help in solving the problem that I have.

Below are my details:

Graphics Card
ASUS HD7770 DirectCU TOP 1GB DDR5

Was using Sapphire HD5760 prior to the update.

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History
13.9

Was  usiung 13.1 prior to update.

Operating System
Windows 7 64-bit

Updated to latest.

Issue Details
During gaming (for now that's the only time it occurs), suddenly the screen went blank, and there's some sound of the game (means it is working in background) and then after a while I'd get a BSOD.

Using ''Whocrashes" software to read the dump, reaveals the following:

Update 131103:

So far with 13.1 I didn't get any error with most games, just that sometimes hwne playing DmC I gut some freeze.

One BSOD was encountered.

On Sat 02/11/2013 17:42:25 GMT your computer crashed
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\110313-49717-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: wdf01000.sys (Wdf01000+0x52A46)
Bugcheck code: 0x10D (0x5, 0x0, 0x1202, 0xFFFFFA800D391AF0)
Error: WDF_VIOLATION
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys
product: MicrosoftR WindowsR Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: Kernel Mode Driver Framework Runtime
Bug check description: This indicates that Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) detected that Windows found an error in a framework-based driver.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

Now I will update to 13.4.

13.4 is the same as 13.1. I then upgraded to 13.11 beta 8. Same problem as 13.9.

Anyone can help me?

The first two reports idntify a TDR issue. In the "How-to-and FAQ" section is a post about this. Try this first and see if that helps. Be sure to read the Microsoft article..as this is not a AMD (or any graphics) issue.

Thanks I will have a look. I saw this while commuting, but I can't search it as I forgot the keywords.

I will update again.

Still, same thing happens with 13.11. Now will try 13.9, and increasing the time from 8 to 16.

EDIT:

Seems like changingto 16 makes it a lot worse in 13.9. Going to try back at 8.

13.9 is still the same. I used the TDR registry method and still the same.

In fact, the higher the number, ther faster the crash.

Now I revert back to 13.1. I can play, but after a while the game will crash. not really a good thing...

Please, can someone help? This is my first time ecnountering error with AMD product after 10+ years using it. Quite a disappointment.

Planning to do intergrity check of Windows file before I go to sleep.

EDIT:

Whilst isntalling 13.1 I got the error: "kdbsync.exe stopped working". Not sure it has any relevance.

EDIT2:

sfc /scannow said there's a corrupt data, but unable to repair. Not sure what is the corrupt data...
