I just bought a Sapphire R9 290 ( great card so far ) however im having some strange probs, I switched out from a sapphire HD 6970 to the 290, and when I did im getting while under load a kinda static noise coming from the card only under load tho, as if the PSU is not strong enough, I am running a 700 watt psu, and it says on the box 750 watt or greater.. however im not getting any crashes in games, no random reboots, no OS fails.. just a strange noise. Also I am getting strange gpu drops it will be like 95-99% useage and do a quick drop it effects the fps when this drop happens... im thinking the solution to all of this is a stronger PSU. Also I wanted to share this problem with others if anyone else is experencing this.  Ideas suggestions?  Thanks!

Its a rocketfish 700w modular psu, and I think for sure its my psu now just this morning with no gaming going on, I was getting ready to respond to this, and all 3 screen artifacted.. had to hard reset so my psu I think it a little too weak for this card, that and it might be a driver prob still not sure.. what do you guys thing? are the betas still rough for the 290?

So I replaced my PSU with a EVGA supernova 1000w psu and the problems persisted, I still get the black screens ( I have  3 monitors ) and they all go black one at a time takes a moment to come back to life.. then I have the issuse of random shutdowns, ( took the EVGA back as I thought the 700 was enough not so I am not getting at times random shut offs ) and I had all 3 screens have some nasty image all over them had to hard reset.. so im thinking AMD has driver probs??? does anyone else hear there card making like a strange nosie under load vs not under load? its hard to describe but its like a buzz like static noise?? anyone else?

it makes that nosie under load, however it does not change pitch like coil wine, its similar but im not sure if thats what it really is ..  under game makes a nosie.. my sapphire hd 6970 did not do this..
