hi

is there definitively no way to have the possibility to switch (thanks to a shortcut or automatically) between the graphic card and the chipset of the mother board? Is it so difficult to edit an appropriate driver?

there would be two cables (2 dvi or one dvi plus one hdmi or displayport for example) between the computer and the screen, and this one switches automatically between the sources

it's so stupid to see (and hear!) the fans of the graphic card when i'm on the net

Owing to the efficiency of modern graphics cards as well as PowerPlay (multiple power states based on load,) even the most powerful graphics cards consume little power when in a 2D application. Also, the IGP and modern dedicated cards are of different generations and use different drivers, so the chance of conflicts would be much higher.

ok, there is technical problem but i know ther is a solution for mobile gpu which can be switched with the chipset, so it's not impossible

i've just seen that graphics overdrive was activated in the control center and the fan speed was set to manual. AUtomatically, this speed is lower when i 'm not gaming. It's better now
