I'm trying to use my Win7 PC w/4G Radeon HD5450 to output to my HDTV but am getting a poor quality image via hdmi. The TV is an old Toshiba HD CRT that has hdmi ports and I'm using a fairly short generic hdmi cable (maybe the one that came with the card) to connect. Running latest Catalyst drivers.

Image is so fuzzy can barely read fonts to configure -- display is set to highest resolution. TV offers only HDMI or composite input, no dvi.  From Toshiba manual: "HDMI input is designed for best performance with 1080i high-definition video signals, but will also accept and display 4801, 480p and 720p signals." Elsewhere in manual it does say TV can't be used as computer monitor, but the TV is 8 yrs old before this was common. Desktop is set to 1920 x 1080, High 32 bit, 60 hz.

What can I do to make this work? Thanks
