I have successfully setup 4k with 30hz, but I am not sure how to get to 60hz. I have a 4k TV that supports HDMI 2.0 and not DP. It only allows a single hdmi cable to be viewed so you cannot run dual HDMI like the ASUS monitor.

My question is, what adapters do I need to make this happen or am I completely out of luck with these cards? Is there a Dual link DVI adapter that supports HDMI 2.0 that will work?

Is there another video card available for purchase that supports 60hz natively with HDMI 2.0?

Talked to a company that sells cables and since DP 1.2 supports 4k @ 60hz, and HDMI 1.4 cables support HDMI 2.0, I got a mini-DP 1.2 cable to HDMI converter and I'll use a normal HDMI cable to the HDMI 2.0 on the TV. I'm told this will work. Not a lot of information out there, but it's only a 20 dollar test anyways. I'll report back if it works!

I saw my first 4k tv a couple of weeks. They look great. Good luck on getting it working.

Well this sucks. Not only does it not do 4k @60hz, it doesn't even do 4k at any refresh rate. 1080P is the highest selectable. Well, there goes 20 bucks...

So, I think that cable I received wasn't actually what the company claimed it was. I'm working on another adapter and trying to order it now. They claim it does support miniDP1.2 to HDMI1.4a with 4k @ 60hz. We'll see! Hopefully this round works. I'll post a link to it if it does.

The 55" Samsung F9000. I got it for $2,999 from Best Buy. I previous bought the Sony version, but I had to return it after two different TVs died on me. The Sony offers higher resolution, but I feel like the picture quality and options are much better with the Samsung.

Hey there! I have a 4k TV without displayport and struggling to output my pc on 60Hz - just wondering if you had any luck with the adapter? Hopefully you haven't followed up because you're having so much fun with the 4k @ 60Hz

I'm still trying to order the cable. It's a chinese company that doesn't seem to have a method to take payment. The guy is supposed to be coming to Las Vegas at the end of this month or early Jan. At that time, he's going to send the cable to me, but unsure on payment still... so sketchy at this point. I have yet to find a mini-DP1.2 to HDMI 1.4a cable on the market that I can purchase.

I'll def post once I have tested it.
