Hi everyone,

I have a pc I built running windows 7, 64 bit, with an Radeon XFX HD 7850 2G GPU installed. I tried updating my drivers using autodetect and then manually and later right clicked on my desktop and clicked on catalyst control center and got this error message:

AMD Catalyst Control Center cannot be started. Tehre are currently no settings that can be configured using AMD Catalyst Control Center.

I also tried updating drivers and this was the installation log:

Uninstall the old driver software using 'uninstall a program' in your computer control panel. Find AMD install manager and express uninstall all AMD software including the installer. Reboot. Install these drivers. Reboot. You should be good to go.

Hey everyone - hoping to revive this as I'm having the same problem.  HD6700.  Win 7 (64)

Yesterday I installed the new 14.12 and it immediately didn't work.  Upon restart both displays were stuck in clone mode in a resolution that didn't work at all.  On top of that, when trying to access CCC, I get that error:

"Catalyst Control Center could not be started. There are currently no settings that can be configured"

Uninstalled 14.12 using AMD uninstaller, manually removed AMD folders, etc. and restarted.  Default display drivers auto detect correct resolution and daul-monitor works as it should - everything is fine.

Ensured there were no remaining AMD/CCC files/folders anywhere, temp files etc.  Redownload 14.12 and clean install.  Same issue over and over again.

Any suggestions?  I can try rolling back to 14-9.  Anyone else having this issue?  Thanks for the help.
