I'm having two problems I hope someone can help me figure out how to solve.  The first one is that I have blurry text when playing Star Wars The Old Republic.  It isn't All text that is blurry, some looks okay.  But especially small red/purple text looks terrible.  Screenshot here:

The second problem is that my sound goes away every so often.  Turning my monitor on/off solves the problem, but it's a pain to do that, and I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have to.

Any ideas on how to fix either of these issues?  I appreciate your help!

You didn't mention your graphics card which is kinda important..don't you think? So..here is my guess. Turn off morphological rendering.

You are right!  I didn't.  My mistake.  It is the Gigabyte version of the 7870 - this one:

Morphological Filtering is off.  I haven't changed anything from default... so I'm not sure what to change.
