Today I was watching a video in full screen from firefox when suddenly the computer froze for around 5-10 seconds, when it became resposive again firefox had closed and said it had been closed by a plugin failure and asked if I wanted to submit and error report. At this point I noticed that there were blue and red squares all over the screen which wern't there before the firefox crash.
Below are a list of the things I have tried to fix the issue:
-Restarted the computer
-Updated graphics driver ( currently on driver version : 18.104.22.168 )
-System restored to before the issue.
-Removed the graphics card and reseated it.
-Tried a different monitor (same problem.)
My system specs are as follows:
Operating system : Windows 7 home premium 64-Bit (6.1, Build7601)
System manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Aspire M5802/M3802
Processor Inter(r) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @2.50GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD5670
Finally below is a screenshot of my display that I've uploaded, as you can see the squares are also present in the screenshot.
