Hi, I recently built a new PC. Everything appears to work just fine under DVI, but once I plug in HDMI it becomes very unhappy. I have tried 13.12 and 14.1 Beta drivers with no success on either. I am not overclocking. Below are my system specs. Everything was bought on newegg.

Graphics Card

ASUS HD7770-2GD5 Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 2GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History
Tried 13.12 and 14.1

Operating System
Windows 7 ultimate

Issue Detail

I can't get it to cooperate with HDMI. It either blue screens and shuts down too fast for me to even read message, gets little squares all over the screen, or just goes completely black. When it goes black I can still see the PC on the network and access its files.

Motherboard or System Make & Model

ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Power Supply

Athena Power AP-MP4ATX47FE 470W MicroATX / SFX12V / EPS12V / ATX V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready eMachines, HP Upgrades/Replacement Power Supply

Display Device(s) and Connection(s) Used

Sharp Model LC-52LE810UN Television

Tried various HDMI cables that I have. I even used the RocketFish RF-G1167 cable I bought for my PS3.

Applications and Games
happens at desktop under no load, within minutes of startup.
CPU Details

AMD FX-4130 Zambezi 3.8GHz Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor FD4130FRGUBOX

Motherboard BIOS Version
Scrolls too fast for me to see it, but in BIOS in the upper right corner it says Version 1501.

System Memory Type & Amount

G.SKILL NS Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C11D-8GNS

Additional Hardware

Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

3LG Internal Super Multi Drive SATA Model GH24NSB0 - OEM

Additional Details

It was a fresh install, worked, and works fine with DVI output. But I don't want to use a DVI to VGA converter. I bought this card specifically so I could hook this PC up to my Television via HDMI.

I took a couple cell phone picks of the screen during some issues it was having.

It wouldn't let me upload the files here, so here are links to them.

your power supply is a rather low quality model

I use Corsair, rock solid in my experience

I would suggest for a PSU with a higher capacity too
