GPUs: Sapphire Vapor-X HD4870 & Sapphire R9 270x

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Power Supply: Corsair vx550w

Display: Samsung HD TV

Issue:

I can get the system to display using either GPU, but I cannot get it to recognize both at the same time. If I have one of them working, the other is in Code 43.

It seem like I should be able to run both, but I just cannot get it to happen. Is there a driver that works for both, or some process I can follow to get them both installed? Or is this a futile endeavor?

The HD 4870 is a legacy card, the R9 270x is not, they do not use the same driver set, cannot be Crossfired, and cannot be used in the same system without conflicts.

Well that explains that! I am glad I didn't spend another 4 hours before posting here. Thank you so much for your quick response.
